Update

Not much to say other than... WOW has it really been since Valentine's day since I posted!

Um work as usual, but kids at a new nursery. Ahh maybe that's the reason for the blackout. It has been trying, and we're not in clear waters yet, but they're finally getting settled in to their routines, new classes, teachers, and all else that comes with a change or nursery.

The new nursery, Kojima, is bigger, has a huge lawn, (unheard of in Japan) and lots of other cool nature perks. It's about half the distance, or less of the old place, and both kids are together, instead of at two separate nurseries... so... now that most of the morning separation anxiety has gone away... we're starting to reap the benefits.

NBA Rant

Well, the Cleveland Cavaliers are out of the playoffs. It hurts a lot that they exited in the 2nd round, when they had the best record in the league this year.

But looking back...when they started Shaq on Kevin Garnet to open game 6, and KG hit his first 4 shots I knew it was pretty much over. While it goes without saying that Lebron didn't bring his A game in game 5, I don't think people can say much about him in game 6. If you look at the stat sheet he triple doubled, 27,19,10 and although you might say he wasn't aggressive enough I put that more on the coaching and his teammates letting him down.

LBJ constantly faced double and triple teams in the half court set for two reasons. 1 - nobody else (except Mo Williams... for the first time in the series) was hitting shots to get him open, and 2 - Mike Brown hasn't come up with an offensive set for his team in 4 years coaching there. It's always just give Lebron the ball and let him go to work. That DOESN'T cut it in the playoffs.

And so after the dismantling defeat suffered at the hands of the Celtics, the LBJ trade talks sparked and July 1st is gonna be the start of craziness! Since LBJ was drafted by the Cavs 5 years ago, I've been a Cavs fan... but it wasn't until now that I realized I'm more with LBJ than I am with the Cavs. I forgot who said it, but the truth is this, until LBJ gets a better coach, who he respects, and a better supporting cast (with a true all-star member) he's not going to get his ring. So if it comes down to it I would support a move to another team if he can find that there. On the other hand, if he can get the coach he deserves, and a better supporting crew, here in Cleveland, then I think it'd be great if he stayed!

I'll be watching the headlines all summer long!
