Blood Type

So in case you weren't aware, the Japanese love their blood types. Everyone knows their own type, and wants to know yours. This is because most Japanese believe that blood type has an effect on a character. If for example you say "I'm A type." to a friend or aquaintance, they will probably reply something like this "Yeah... definitely. I knew that, because you are always [blah blah blah]" with this look of total confidence in their eyes that they know everything about the kind of person you are.

So, when you say "I don't know my blood type." they look at you in shock an amazement as if you had just told them something like "I don't have a name."

The reason I'm writing about this is... today an advert came in the mail for a community kids soccer camp sign up. It included a picture of the coach and his profile. The profile included; name, birthdate (to the day) birthplace, astrology sign, and as you guessed it, BLOOD TYPE!

Could someone out there in the world please tell me that I am not crazy for being surprised to see a profile like this, and think that it is completely RANDOM info.

Back to the GRIND

So I'm back at work as of about 2 weeks ago.

Time is flying by already. Even though I thought I would be much more prepared for the second semester, I am still up late at night. Last semster I had a couple of 1 or 2 a.m. bedtimes a week, but so far this year I've been keeping it under the midnight hour.

It's also nice to have almost all the same students (as I know their faces and names) and to have a much better idea of what is going on!

Well I'll do my best to keep you all better informed than the last semester!!!
