The Patio Project

So this is kinda what our patio looked like before...

Not so pretty hey. It's been like this (full of garbage bicycles and other junk) since we moved in. So What I did first was to put a new storage shelf together.

This really helped to get stuff off the ground. Next I needed to get the bikes out of the way. Using a horizontal tension bar I was able to get them off the ground.

However they were exposed to the weather. So next I built a framework out of a pipe connector system and put a roof on it. Here's the end result...

Also I wanted to green the place up a bit. The vines I've added are supposed to grow up the lattice wall. I'll keep you posted. I still have plans to add turf and something bigger to get some shade.

After a lot of work (a direct result of having no power tools) here's how we've ended up! A lot lot better than the dumpyard I had before!
